Drop down the left-hand side here to find a Clam which you can pay 2,700 Shiny Objects to open a Treasure Chest nearby containing a Floor Button. Instead of jumping down to the column puzzle, turn around and return to the first puzzle.

Use a Cruise Bubble to strike its lid and shut the porthole, which will drain the lake of almost all of its green goo, revealing new areas to explore! First use a Cruise Bubble to destroy the Chuck Robot, then look for a porthole spilling ooze out of the hull of a ship. Up ahead will be another column puzzle, but ignore it for now. If you Bubble-Bash below the end of the left-hand wooden ship wreckage, you can reach a Purple Shiny Object! This will form a jump slot out of the first and third columns!Īt the top, take out the column of Tubelet Robots before tripping the next Checkpoint. The solution is to move the middle column right and then the farthest column left. Your task is to form a wall jump slot from two of these by whacking the Buttons at their bases. There will be three columns here: two on the left and one on the right. On the other side you'll have a puzzle to figure out. At the moving wooden platforms, fire a Cruise Bubble and take out the Chuck Robot to make jumping over easier. Now turn around and take the right-hand route instead. Once you destroy the Slick Robot, head left, take out the Fodder Robot, then open the Teleport Box at the end.

These two factors mean that the best approach to destroyed these guys is to stay out of range and hit them with two successive Cruise Bubbles. They also have an oil shield that cannot be taken out with a melee attack: you must use explosives to destroy it.

Slick Robots will throw globs of oil that not only hurt you, but leave an oil slick that'll make you run along the ground like ice for a few seconds.
